What is the Holy Spirit saying? Who do I need to share it with?

Think about the people you regularly interact with. How many do not share your Christian faith? What does your relational network reveal about how engaged you are with the world around you?
Read 2 Corinthians 5:17–20. What does Paul mean when he calls Christians “ambassadors for Christ”? What would it look like for you to represent the Kingdom of God in the places you live, learn, work, and play?
Paul says that God has given us “the ministry of reconciliation.” What does reconciliation with God mean? What might it look like for you to participate in God's work of reconciliation with the people around you?
If we are called to be ambassadors, then it makes sense that we need an embassy. What is the Christian's metaphorical “embassy,” and what should people experience when they encounter it?
Identify one specific place where God has already placed you. What would faithful engagement look like there? Now identify one person God may be inviting you to love, serve, listen to, encourage, or begin a spiritual conversation with. What is one step you could take this week to engage that person as an ambassador of Christ?
Pray
Lord Jesus, we belong to your Kingdom. You have not taken us out of this world but have sent us into it. Make us faithful ambassadors. Show us where you are already at work and give us the courage to join you there. Make us ministers of reconciliation wherever you have placed us. We gather here so that we can go there. In Jesus' name. Amen.
