How could we ever question God’s love for us? He has sought us out, pleaded with us, and paid the ultimate price through the gift of Jesus.
God’s love doesn’t ever stop pursuing us. No matter where we run to or where we try to hide, God never gives up on us. When we allow this reckless love to change us, we will see everything change!
God is a holy God and His love is a holy love, not a sentimental feeling that condones and pampers sinners. God is holy and will not allow His people to enjoy sin for long. The book of Hosea focuses on particular sins that God addresses and challenges us to live in His holiness today. Speaker, Pastor: Ryan Smallwood
Scripture: Hosea 2:2-13
God instructed the prophet Hosea to marry a prostitute named Gomer and they had three children together. And then Gomer left Hosea for another man and Hosea had the humiliating responsibility of buying back his own wife. What was this all about? A vivid story of how we often “prostitute” ourselves and commit spiritual adultery. Yet God continues to love us and extend His amazing grace to us.
