Each week at Aldersgate, dozens of people just like you give their time to serve. Whether it’s helping kids learn about Jesus on their level in Aldersgate Kids, greeting first-time guests, or pitching in behind the scenes with Production, every volunteer is making a difference at Aldersgate!
We know you’re busy, and a million things are competing for your time. But we also know you’ll meet new friends and grow in your relationship with Jesus when you start serving.

Give your Time
Communion
The sacrament of Communion is central to our faith. Preparation for this holy moment requires the hearts and hands of those willing to serve through preparing for Communion, serving during Communion, and cleaning up after Communion.
Emergency Response
If you want to work behind the scenes and make sure we are prepared to handle emergency situations on Sunday morning, we would love for you to join the ERT.
Facilities
Help maintain our wonderful property through yard care. Also, assist with setup and cleanup for special events that happen at the church. This is a perfect team for anyone who enjoys serving behind the scenes.
Host Team
Almost every Sunday is someone’s first Sunday at Aldersgate. Imagine joining a team that has fun creating a welcoming environment for our visitors. The Host team works hard to create an environment where each person feels welcome and comfortable.
J.O.Y. Ministries
The special needs ministry at Aldersgate strives to love and serve all families and individuals with any type of special need, never turning anyone away, to make them feel included and safe and to teach them that they are a valuable part of the body of Christ.
Kids
It is our desire for children to Connect with God in a personal, unique way. To learn to Love others by being the hands and feet of Christ, and to be challenged to Impact the world around them with the gospel of Jesus Christ!
Media and Communications
Our vision is to not add to the noise but to clearly and passionately communicate the vision and mission of Aldersgate Church with excellence; reaching the unchurched and helping them connect to God, love others, and impact the world.
Pastoral Care
The Pastoral Care Team provides a ministry of support, hope, and nurturing so that no one in the church feels alone during difficult times of life.
Prayer
Prayer is the breath of our spiritual life. It is one way we draw near to God by intentionally being in His presence. If you have a passion for praying for others, or just want to learn how to pray, Aldersgate’s Prayer team wants to support and walk alongside you.
Productions
Volunteers on the Production team keep things running smoothly during our weekend services and at events so that our guests have a great experience connecting to God. They run the lighting and sound booth during services, put up slides for services and set up for services and events.
Students
LiGHT Student Ministry is junior high and senior high students (6th-12th grade). Our vision is to see students embrace what it means to Love God and Love People.
Worship
Volunteers on our Worship team use their gifts and abilities to minister to the church body through the expression of worship to the Lord through music. They lead worship at weekend services and other ministries and events throughout the week and sing or play an instrument in the worship band.
