We tend to see God as distant, unapproachable and unattainable. But that’s not true at all. The message of Christmas is that Jesus came to the least suspecting, least qualified and least deserving. He comes to each of us, meeting us right where we are.

There are times in life with everything seems out of control. Times when we are surrounded by challenges, stress and chaos. But in the midst of any turmoil there is a peace we can go to. Peace is not the absence of trouble but rather knowing that God is with us in the midst of the trouble.
Jesus may have physically left this earth after his resurrection but that doesn’t mean that God is no longer with us. God promised to always be with us. He indwells in us through the Holy Spirit. For those that call on His name, He is always with us.
