The global pandemic has disrupted our lives and routines. Things are not going back to “the old” normal anytime soon and we are having to settle into a “new normal.” We are adjusting to a new way of living, and going about our lives, work, and interactions with others in different ways. There are some rules that will help us adjust to the new normal and come to find out, they might not be that new after all. RULE #6: ONO STILL EXISTS
Speaker, Pastor: Ryan Smallwood
Scripture: Nehemiah 6:1-14
Discussion Questions for this week:
1. Can you relate to the Sanballat’s and Tobiah’s? Do you have them in your life? Where are they currently in your life?
2. Can you relate to the “Emotional Cycle of Change?” Where do you typically find yourself – the left side of the curve or the right side of the curve? How can you grow in this area?
3. What is your initial reaction when faced with opposition, trials, or doubt? Do you tend to turn to God first or someone/where else? If someone/where elsewhere do you usually turn? What is your next step in this area?
4. Who has your back? Is there someone that prays for you regularly? Is there someone that will speak truth to you and not just what you want to hear? If so, thank that person right now! If not, what is your next step to finding that person?
5. Where are you living beyond yourself? Where are you serving? Where are you giving to others? What is your next step in this area?
